On Tuesday, December 22, 2009, I did the first radio interview to promote Nu School Educational's Digital, Illustrated Grammar program. "Da Educated Poet" out of Minnesota conducted the interview, which highlights some of the features from the book. Also, some of the soulful educational songs were featured.

In accordance with current changes in the passport law, every child needs a passport of their own in order to travel abroad to any country outside the United Sates. Even for travel to Canada, minors will need a Canadian passport application child.
Special forms are there and every child must come into view in person to apply, together with both parents. Then parents have to submit photocopies of documents in specific government-approved forms (i.e. on 8 ½ by 11 white paper—“The 8 1/2 x 11" paper size cannot be substituted with a larger or smaller size paper, even though the alternative folds down to the 8 1/2 x 11" size. If one parent is engaged, the other must bring a notarized letter and Form DS-3053. Parent with exclusive guardianship have to prove their status to get the passports for children.
Even though parental approval is not obligatory for children ages 14 to 17, it may be asked for. Children of this age will also need to present their own identification, including picture identification. If the minor does not have their own identification, the parent may provide identification and proof of their relation.
There are different rules have been made for passports for children under age 14, and children between the ages of 14 and 17. Minors under age 14 will need to have all of the same documentation required for an adult passport. Over and above being a US citizen, you will be asked for showing documentation of your citizenship. Apart from the proof of citizenship, minors will also need to present proof of relationship to the parent or legal guardian who will be signing their passport. For this you require a birth certificate or naturalization papers for the child. If you don't have these, in order to meet US passport requirements you will need to bring a Letter of No Record to the US passport office, which can only be issued by the State. Besides that the other documents are own passport photo in order to get passports for children to travel. The photo has to be 2x2 inches in size, and must be a full front photo of the child's face against a white background. Even newborns and infants will need their own passport, as they also require their own passport photo. These passport photos can be taken at many photo shops, copy shops, and travel agencies that specialize in travel services.
